The Experimental Pear

Enjoyed these a lot Rob. The first for opening it out to see something other than the attractive shape of a pear and to pull you away toward, in this case the rough damaged textures. The second for the clever movement. Often an image of this type using a camera, the result can be about camera movement, where as this one it takes on the appearance of the object moving, rather than the camera. I say object rather than pear as if the first image was not involved , the object in the second could have been something else. Using the pear though, for me has given a superb aesthetic quality to the image.

Thanks, Julian! I think your comment about movement often being about the camera is an important distinction. Very much appreciated.

Turning the first one slightly clockwise and some submarine creature appears with mouth and eyes and tail.
The transformation to the second shot is brilliant and has resulted in something beautiful. If this was mine it would be on my wall.
