My eldest granddaughter, about a year ago. This was shot in single shot mode with a Panasonic HD60 video camera, something that I just happened to have in my hand at the moment. It's okay for portraiture, but for landscape there's too much artefact for my liking.

It is Steve McCurry, but it didn't occur to me until after I saw it! She just happened to be wearing this and I'd not used the camera for stills before. It gives VERY sharp eyes.

It's a lovely image but something about it was bothering. I realise after Hamish's edit it was the bright wall in the background, the tighter crop makes it much stronger IMHO.

And actualy te crop te lack of white works best for both my ott version and te original IMO
