Critique Welcomed The Golden Mile

Nice Darren. Wonderful light you captured there.

cheers @Vic Shaw welcome back, i for one have missed your work :-) thanks for comments to, i defo try with my horizons :-)

hehe I come and go. I even managed to take a picture or two in the last week or so.

It is a nice shot though Darren, if you have another shot with a little more space on the right and a little less on the left it would be interesting to see how they compare

I dont sorry vic :-(

Peter Nikon D7100 & 18-105 lens for this shot :-)

only other photo i have is this but i dont like the composition, kinda messy

Only goes to show ya...sometimes our own eye is wrong. This shot isn't messy...for me anyway. It just changes the focus from the sky to that bigass wheel...with btw... that awesome sky. It's not like the "normal" good like the first...so I really like it a lot. Maybe better than the first in fact. Sorry to disagree.

hey no need to be sorry.....just goes to show we all have different likes with regards to photos :-)

Both good pics, but as Dave says I too prefer the second, a slightly different composition to what is usual for a pier, I also like the scale and grandness of the wheel itself.

2 great shots if you ask Me Darren, very nicely exposed indeed, I could see those on an official Blackpool tourist guide !

thanks Andy that would be very kool

Wow - you have the low light stuff nailed Darren

Add in that killer sky and this one's a real keeper - have you considered contacting Blackpool's tourist office to see if they'd be interested?
