Stunner Pete! I immediate;y thought of Kertesz, and went on a hunt to find an image by him that this reminds me of. Alas, I found no such image. Perhaps I am imaging things. Nevertheless, I love this image. Absolute stunner!

Thanks all. Yes, I can see the reference but in fact the link I was thinking of were the shadows in The Third Man. I was supposed to be in Vienna today (and until Friday) but when I spotted this character, those ominous shadows came to mind and decided it was safer to cancel the trip!

Pete, I absolutely adore this photo and the little figurine in it. Very creative and great use of space. At first I was trying to figure out the background..its kind of an illusion to the eye and I love it!
