When I got home this evening the light was just wonderful and so I decided to head over to the 'New Mill' just up the road. There is an old mill in the village as well but it hasn't been used as such for at least 200 years but still has it's wheel. These buildings date from the early to mid 1800's and, until last year, was still a working grain dryer and mill. Alas the owner has decided to try to sell the complex fro conversion into some sort of luxury 'barn' conversion - all 10,000 sq ft!! So I decided a while back that it would be good to start photographing it before it is lost to some advertising executive or merchant banker. These are the first shots that I've processed from the 60 I took this evening before the light faded (and just as the bat survey people arrived). There will be more and hopefully some inside the old buildings shot on film.
