This reminded me of the end of "The Lord of the Rings" when the ring is destroyed in the fires of Mount Doom...

Glen, you have really impressed me with these droplets.... Very very impressed :) ;)

Love it - very Mordor! :D

So how did you get the timing right?

I enjoy doing these, drips and drops and things........need a fair bit of patience though, how many shots did you get through shooting...

So how did you get the timing right?

I just kept squirting some water onto the cloth which was clamped to a piece of wood above the glass. Then every time a drop dripped I fired a shot and sometimes I caught something other times I didn't:o.
I took 350 shots all together but 250 went straight in the bin:o.

I use a plastic bag full of water then prick a tiny hole in with a pin, the drip is constant so you can get a better idea of timing. I want to try with some colouring in the bag dripping into clear water, I reckon that might be quite cool.......when I light I bounce a Flash off a card set behind the water container usually a developing tray, the card can be any colour so reflects the colour into the water.

I've used oil too from a syringe.all fun to do.

Great work Glen
