Passing boat leaving the Red Arrows show. Not a fishing vessel but used for the very occasional trip out.

Thanks Chris, yes and some nice houses on the entrance of the River Fowey. They did give contrast to the sea environment.Lovely framing against the houses Julian - looks a bit stormy?
Thanks Rob. Bobbing yes. Being on crutches at sea is no fun. I was in our open bow when at this point leaving Fowey, it is quite shallow on the west side and therefore a deep swell, as we went into the wind. I ended up on my ass , which apart from being painful was a good excuse to then milk it and claim the nice padded seat in the wheel house at the stern and take control of our destiny. One problem with short choppy seas it is very hard to take photo's as there is so much motion, I'd liked to have got many more shots than I did, maybe next year..Very nice, Julian. The came has caught to much, and you must have been bobbing up and down as well.
I did make a huge presumption that you were drunk from all the jazz on the couch , which a'nt a bad thing.By comparison, my couch was motionless. I therefore have no excuse for all the typos in my previous comment!
Thank you Ivar, I'd have preferred six more photo's than those birds you get at seaSorry about your fall Julian, but this one image may make up for all the other pictures you lost or did not get. A bird in your hand is better than.. Need I say more. I think you have told quite a story just by this excellent image. Bloody well done under the circumstances. Admirable.
Thanks Bran, yep the regal lady made me smile which for myself if anything did, made the photo. The fact that they were faster at this point than us, they appeared even more regal , which to be honest is not hardGreat shot, Julian. The person in white at the back of the boat looks quite regal in a way,...as if this is the queen's yacht. The chop and the clouds give a real good mood to this image. Its amazing to think that people still commute this way.
Thanks Pete, I see and know what you see in the foreground. I know what I did was for a reason which now I have forgotten , but remember well trying to solve something. Looking now I certainly over did what what I did for whatever reason that was.Gorgeous Julian. The fine detail really makes this. Not so keen on the reduced tones on the foreground breaker though - I guess it was too distracting though.
