What an interesting idea.

Interesting project - I once had a Dollar bill which had a website URL on it for tracking - you could log in and register where you received it, and then look at it's travels over time

I love that kind of stuff

Pretty cool. A little like Flat Stanley. Another variation: A camera sent around to different people.

I suppose we could do something in RPF.

Not really. I don't have the time now, but for a few years I rescued tatty teds from eBay. I have one WWI mascot, a tiny little thing so full of repairs there is bear..ly any bear left. A bear who was collected by an elderly gentleman who had to cut down (reluctantly). I've had bears with their head sewn to their necks, bears that cames with separate arms. One clearly showed running repairs, maybe in WWII, due to lack of proper metal parts. I have one of the first little metal bears with virtually no covering left. I think they all have stories to tell... :)

Wait,...I just remembered we did something like this already,...when @Hamish Gill was looking to revamp his F8 website--some of us (not me personally) shot images of the logo in different circumstances around the globe.

How about a traveling Hugo - where will be pop up next?

Apparently it's been done a few times before, or similar at least... It started with one of the blog readers banging in via twitter about not wanting to pay all the money they cost but wanting one... I thought I'd let him have a go and it kinda went from there really!
