A photo today for a forthcoming magazine article about domestic violence.
Taken in daylight but underexposed then re-lit with two speedlights as follows:
D800 with 24-70mm (at 62mm) for 1/160 at F/11 Exposure -2ev from metered background/sky.
SB-910 at camera left facing the subject. Commander mode remote in manual - 1/64 power just to give a tiny bit of face and hands. Had to be manual mode otherwise the metering pre-flash would have set off the other optically slaved speedlight).
SB-800 in Su-4 mode (Optical trigger) - manual at 1/4 power to give the ring lighting / background separation.
