The weather front moves through...

Last evening the a break in the hot weather was a visual event. The cold front met the Boston skyline through our window...

That sky is just nuts! A very graphic image and really pops out due to the hard contrast. Reminds me a bit of Flash Gordon too.

be glad it moved through. ours didn't. 7 inches of rain today and more tomorrow. but we didn't have dramatic clouds like this, just gray overcast.

Holy mackerel Beth...7 inches of rain? That's too much almost anywhere. We have had crappy weather...hot...humid...clouds...and some rain. But nothing like you.

Thank you Pete...it looked ominous but it didn't cause any problems here. There was a tornado touch down a little west of us. Luckily no damage or injuries.

Thanks Milan...as you can probably tell I'm intrigued with clouds myself. I sometimes think I should have been a weather forecaster. Maybe when I grow up?
