Through the fields of rape

Got Curt to wear my mask and stand in the field full and thick of rape, if anyone was to pass and whilst this was going on....... haha!!! carried out a bit of PP on both, need a bit of advice on the B+W shot, if any, not quite happy with it. but love the dark and desaturated feel of the other shot, the pose is great!!! heading to the darkness with rape in the hands!! just what I had in mind!!

I quite like the BW shot, if I had to be picky I would say maybe a bit more grain to give it a more gritty look. However its hard to say anything for sure, the forums upload facility tends to really soften pics and they can really look different from how they look when you view the actual file.

#1 for me - nice look, especially the clouds just to the top of the crop to frame in the image

Should explain for our non-UK members that rape in this case is Oilseed Rape - or Canola

I like this. What impresses me the most here is the perfect composition with good use of thirds. The B&W is good, I would try a texture over it though with the right one it can make a dramatic change.

Hi Dan, I agree with Vic. Try using the channel mixer or similar to give the effect of using a yellow or oragne filter. I think this might give you the contrast for the flowers you are looking for. Otherwise and great idea and super composition. I wonder if Ina can be pursuaded...

Yeah, The first one is my favourite and I agree with Pete about using a yellow/orange filter to get a contrast with the flowers or something like that I think My dad wants to get me in one of the rape-seed fields with the rabbit mask haha.
