Today's storm, and getting to grips with an elderly Nikon D50

As per the title, we had a storm this afternoon, and it was a chance to try out the Nikon D50 that I recently inherited. It had the Tamron 18-200 lens fitted for this shot, but I intend to try out the genuine Nikon lenses that came with it. The Tamron can be a little indecisive when auto focusing, but is OK otherwise. Given its age and quite low resolution compared to more modern cameras, I am growing to like this camera. A bit different to my Canon, but I do like it. DSC_0178.JPG

Nice to see the saturation of colour on older Nikon sensors- be fun to see what you find works as subjects with it.

My old D2H was surprisingly great with sunny days and portraits and buildings- the resolution never felt lacking with isolated subjects.
