Thanks a lot, Rob. Much appreciated. I'm getting used to it. I need to read the destructions, though. Yesterday--at the time I was taking the fotie above--I wanted to make some manual adjustments. However, although I was able to manually adjust aperture and ISO, I couldn't for the life of me figure out what button, knob or ring to use for shutter speed adjustment. The damn thing confounded me to no end. That does look amazing, Brian. Love the toning too. Glad you're finding your way with the deepeeone.
Brian, I suggest you get the ISO and other main options from the Q button.
Don't know. Never used one of these new-fangled electronical thingmies before. Are you holding it the right way up?
Oh I see! Thank you Julian.Ye the sticky out bit goes at the front
Excellent , like this beach shot Brian.
Thanks Pete. We've had a dockworker's strike going on and that is the reason for the ships all sitting about. They're all waiting to get into port to be unloaded.Lovely stuff, Brian. Those shadows are especially effective I think. And I like the balance of people and ships.
Julian,...I now know what you meant when you mentioned last week about using the blue channel. Just learned about it this morning from the following link. Perhaps you've seen this?Good idea , that is what I do also, use the QS Button . May be worth mentioning that you can hit that button twice, the second time it brings up more option. You can allocate different options to that QS menu. Once open the top wheel will advance you through the options , plus using one of the four press pads on the rear, those press pads which surround the large circular button, will also advance the options given. It is all very basic when set up and all the better for that.
Yes Brian I recognise that site and may well have read some things from it. Always good to look again.Julian,...I now know what you meant when you mentioned last week about using the blue channel. Just learned about it this morning from the following link. Perhaps you've seen this?

You're a riddle wrapped inside an enigma, Ivar.Sorry Brian, this whole viking with a horn here and there is a riddle. Number 27 is my number, there is no other number visible in the image and ranking from 30 and down, this is ranked to a score of 27. I know it‘s hard to figure it out, coming from me.
