My one real morning out with the camera over the past few weeks

Seems to be a weeks for trains! Love that last shot with the light on the steam. Nice set.

And you gotta love the steam in the last!

No 3 is taken at my favorite spot on the line it has to be one of the best viewpoints available most photographers seem to go to where the little bit of canal bank is jutting out a lot closer to the house but this gives a better perspective I have always felt as you can get the whole train and not just the house and loco although the railway's own photographer did say to me he only gets the shot from where I take it when he is using a monster lens so it might just be because I'm using a bridge with high zoom instead of a DSLR that I can get the shot

Wondered where you had gone Dave. Good set and I agree about the last shot with all the steam and the guy in the carriages sticking his head out of the window.

Thanks everyone I've just realized I put these in with the newest first. One of the beauties of that part of the line is you can get no 3 from the canal bank no2 from the fence by the pub then walk across the railway to get this as it goes over the canal

The a spot of lunch and a pint or 2 till the next train comes unfortunatly it always seems to blow the sky above the tree line opposite if you take it actually on the bridge

I did try with cs5.5 and it made a mess Adrian might try it again with cs6 though
