Very nice, do I detect a bit of beauty glow in this or is the effect from the train window?

You do Paul. I used the detail extractor to emphasise the dirt, followed by Glamour Glow. Then this is overlaid with a titanium tones B&W with increased grain and slight vignette at about 50% opacity. I used a layer mask to keep a bit more blue in the sky and a curves adjustment layer to add a bit more life.
