Those of a nervous disposition look away now!

This is another jumble of an image. Not what I normally take or even bother to process, but I'm wading through some older photographs and going through some kind of dark period. It was a horrible sunny day with a gale blowing and I was hanging off a ledge in order to fit this in. I keep meaning to go back, but in the meantime I had a dark, Old Forest from The Lord of the Rings, throw caution to the wind type mood last night and I seem to have ended up with this...

It does indeed (or at least Cambodia!). I'm intrigued as to why you decided to go down the monochrome route (or was it a monochrome shot). I like it though and even it is very complex it still works.

It just didn't work in colour. Even the revised version I did today before converting didn't work. I don't normally look at the Silver Efex presets, but the faded yellow one did something I can't quite put my finger on. A couple of dozen control points later and voila! I still need to go back - I love old trees like this one
