Trees in the mist

I like it too, gives a sense of loneliness and mystery. :o

Tis a nice shot H, makes a change to not see these guys in a those masks that Rob is on about. Lol.
Seriously though, very nice tones.

Lovely moody shot - Ilford should be paying you as the official XP2 sponsor!

Yes, nice indeed. Any sign of a man in a gas mask? Lots of them around at the moment...

its so remote where we were staying that when I went out to take photos in the mist I did freak my self out a little ... And funnily enough a person in a gas mask did pop in to my head. Its a 'dead mans shoes' thing though rather than anything else ... Dan doesn't really scare me ... Not in that way anyway

thanks Steve

cheers Dan ...

Lovely shot, Hamish. Very artsy. I need to try that XP2.

Do, it's still the top stuff for me!

Looking good Hamish. That's the first photo I've seen shot with that GR1s in about 7/8yrs easily, I don't think there's been 10 rolls of film put through it since I bought it new.

Glad to see your enjoying it! Nice results.

I love it, I'm so happy to have one again ... All be it with a little bit of it held on with melt glue :)

I have tweeted this thread at them and suggested they should read the comments ... They are such wonderful, lovely, in fact I'd go as far to say beautiful people at ilford, they might well agree :D

Those tones are beautiful.

Thanks Darren ... All down to the superb products of Ilford!

(Smells like sycophancy in here ... Sorry, I think that was me ...)

Cheers Pete! It always supprised me how much light comes from mist ... Is that what I'm trying to say?? How much mist can effect a lightmeter at very least. When I was metering for the shots with the Titan the exposure times were very short, to the point in fact of me worrying they were wrong. I guess the camera just sees bright areas of near white and meters accordingly, chucking, in this case the trees into near shadow. I hope to have similar results from the Titan before the week is out :)

That's very nice. I like the off-centre composition.

I like it to. Nice isolated subject and moody scene.
