One of THE biggest players in the 8mm world in it's day, the Bell & Howell Sportster, (circa 1937-1950).

And the American upstart which tried to steal it's market, selling for half the price - the Revere Eight Model 88 (circa 1940).

Two classics for less than the price of a tank of petrol - or gas as we say over here! ;)

Now, how to get them past SWMBO...

How about a PO Box. Nip out with an empty camera bag, quick change in a public toilet into raincoat, Homberg and dark glasses. Pick up package, change back and smuggle into house?!! Desperate times call for desperate measures. :)
 
Paul - good point, maybe I should find a cheaper benchmark!

Pete - it would all come out in the end - better just take it on the chin when posty arrives LOL - She can already see all the Paypals leaving the bank account, so she's knows something's up! ;)
 
I think I've secured the final camera for my series tonight on FleaBay - will keep it under wraps until I've covered the two above.

Should make a natural close, and a great story...
