Thanks for the comment, Rob. I find it unusual that you prefer the one in colour, but that probably has less to do with the colour than with the composition (I suppose).

Thank you, Gianluca. The second pic is lovely and certainly shows off the leaf's green beauty. Quite unusual in that the fine veins seem to branch inward. I have to say, though, I still prefer the b+w for it's sculpted, abstract look.

The composition is excellent, but that green is so beautiful, and the combination of composition and that particular colour make this for me a great shot.
