Under the Ice

This is a bit of an experiment on an image of a frozen stream. It was, in part, initiated by Hamish's recent iPhone posts but also because I have been looking more into doing some Gum Bichromate printing. This is a layered version of the original image with a tone monochrome over a relatively unaltered original but with part of the monochrome 'brushed' away using a coarse brush setting. Not really a finished image but an interesting effect I thought.

i like it ... although i dont like the twig ...
how about crop out the twig with a 10 x 8?

You might be right there. I had originally planned to crop it out but thought it too abstract. I'll have a play.
