Very sad news

You all may recall a couple of shots I took for a very good friend of mine who's raising money for a little girl Niamh Curry who has cancer, or more specifically Neuroblastoma.

The 24hr run to be carried out by Paul was to take place in July this year. Unfortunately Niamh passed away in her sleep last night at the age of 5. This news was devestating to all involved helping Niamh, however unimaginable to how her parents must feel right now.
Paul had put so much effort in for this little girl that when the sad news was announced, he ran 21 miles in memory of her today.
My heart goes out to her family and friends.

I remember the thread and that is such sad news. I really don't understand why children have to get cancer or things like progeria. At least little Niamh was surrounded by love and everyone was fighting for her. I guess there are worse things than a short and happy life...
