Sadie.

Taken with a Kodak Pony "C" and Ilford FP4 film. Developed in Rodinal 1:100 for 90 minutes.

Very cute - but you're going to have to translate the title! :D

Thanks Chris. It's from Robert Burns' delightful poem, "The Twa Dogs". Hector and Luath are the dogs in question.

"And wearie at last wi' monie a farce,
They set themselves upon their arse,
And so began a lang digression,
About the Lords o' all creation."

Or something like that. And so begins a long discussion about life and the human condition between the two weary canines. But since I only have one dog in the hoose I limited my title for contextual accuracy.

Excellent Brian. Love the tones on the floor and the angle you've used. But I'm shocked!! I can only see one tiny dust spot. What's gone wrong?!! Is this a revolutionary counter-point to Hamish's encroachment into the dust and fluff effects field or maybe you are just entering into a new Clean Scanner Period having merged from your Indistinct Phase!! Or are they connected? ;)

It is quite striking and took me a while to realise why. The line where the back wall meets the floor is almost continued along the bottom of the dog and then picked up again along the side wall where you would expect perspective to make the line go diagonally downwards to the bottom left.

Did you line it up that way intentionally Brian?

Thank you Pete and Paul.
I can only see one tiny dust spot.
Hang on. I've just spotted a second!
Only two Pete? (See if you can spot the third and fourth ones I put there for you!) :p I haven't fully emerged from my Indistinct Period yet. The bottom half of the fotie is still in that era. ;)

Did you line it up that way intentionally Brian?
Well, actually no Paul. Nothing so deliberate. Truth is, I just saw a weary dog and I snapped a fotie from a bug's eye view, using the floor for a tripod. There was nothing more to it than that I'm afraid. But thank you for the observation and the question, Paul.
