I must admit the location was sort of chosen for me its cold and I wanted to get back for a coffee so less than 5 minutes from home and I always thought it would be good for this type of shot all taken in RAW various apeture settings were tried really all with a timed exposure of 25 or 30 seconds

I also liked the way the moonlight was hitting the bridges cantilever

Ahh, the A500. :)
Nice shots they are, I knows I loves a bit ye olde darkness babs! :D:D

love that last one especially

Did you get a new camera then? :D

Thanks Dan its the A50 right before Meir tunnel its a shock to the system if I ever drive through it these days normally we either come off there or go on the other side I was really pleased with the way they turned out. It was a little bit of me trying to be creative with the new camera it would be better shot about 7 in the evening as more traffic but I really wanted to try it out as a location so 5 30 in the morning must admit I did get some funny looks from a couple of people walking there dogs

Thanks Chris I had gone to get shots of the road (I had never considered the bridge as a shot and I walk our dog over it a couple of times a day) but waiting for the traffic shots I saw the way the moon was hitting it and wanted to try and capture it

I think I might have Beth its brilliant and 2 I will be honest I think I over exposed it a little I only posted it as except for test shots and finding my way around the camera it was my first proper shot with it

nice set Dave, looks like your going to enjoy your new camera, My pick of the bunch has to be no 1 for me,, its pretty dam perfect shot of that type.

As already says no2 is a little over exposed, yet very easily corrected in RAW,

looking forward to seeing some more of your shots in the near future with the new toy ;-)
