You have a good eye sir! Monumental architecture and a plastic chair - in a strange way they compliment each other.
 
I took that before we entered the stadium and I chuckled to myself at the thought of this single, lonely, yet moveable chair, clumsily placed, probably not far removed from being a piece of litter, while inside those walls were seventy five thousand seats bolted down and forming orderly lines of absolute precision.

That's the original Olympic flame cauldron in the last photo.
 
That is an impressive piece of architecture, has a purity of form. Your last two images are really good, love them.
