....how hot I would get chasing after that rustling noise in the bushes for well...I don't have a watch but I'm sure you were timing it. Anyway, it's all good now right?"

Sunday AM + other assorted dog pictures from today- I promise not to post any more.

Liking the way the path leads you in on #3 and the tall grass frames the subject

For some reason Num1 reminds me of Bob Hoskins The long good Friday
Its cause he looks like a Big Boss.

No!! You really must keep posting these Steve. It's almost as though you take us along on your walks :)

It's always some kind of hair pulling adventure. Ruby is still in that puppy stage. She's approximately 18 months old so I have to keep a close eye on her. Last night we took the long way back. Not a good idea. We were about 30 minutes from the car when several deer darted across the trail. She took off and was gone. It was right at sundown. I ended up getting locked in the park and fined for being there after dark. She got lost because we were on a trail we hadn't used before. I was stumbling around in the dark yelling for her. I finally decided that maybe she could figure out the way back to the car. When I got there she was hiding in the bushes near the parking area. I was really relieved. She has done so well lately that I got a little overly optimistic. She just gets so excited and her nose gets in the way of her ears at times. The Park Ranger who let us out had a good laugh so hopefully I can talk my way out of the fine. :)

Just to give you some idea on Ruby, this photo was taken Sunday AM after we had been out on the trails for over 3 hours... :D Slow isn't part of the plan....
