I think this looks great in B&W. The street lamp looks stunning. Just curious about the white line above & between the clocks, is there a spire there? I feel that white line is drawing my eye above & out of the shot.

The street light is as shot - but I bobbed in the clocks from the -2ev exposure as they were blown in the final HDR image.

Since you have room to spare, you might correct the perspective to get everything vertical and crop this a bit tighter. I think some off the right and top (and maybe left) would be a little stronger. It almost feels like a square crop would be right (Pete - that's one for you).

I'm not a fan of correcting perspective unless it's extreme. We see in perspective so I prefer to leave it at this level. This was an image taken for a specific use - title and copy space at the left with room for a sidebar at the right.

I took some daytime shots of the same church with the X100 today. I'll try to get them up later. There's a tighter crop as you suggest.
