Another with the Cheap-As-Chips camera (Konica Autoreflex TC) with expired Kodak BW400CN film cross-processed in Rodinal.

Do you know what makes the image?
Those people!
It reminds me of a 60's film... The lens is about to zoom to the people chatting through the window.. They are talking about a murder in an office block I think!
Brain! I wish you would do a ebook of these sorta indestinct softish black and white photos, I love them!!!!!!!!!!!!

This time I'm not going to change brain to brian .. It happens all the time and I'm fed up of editing posts! From now on you are either Brian or brain, like it or lump it ;)

I don't know why but it makes me think of the dream sequence in the hitchcock movie "spellbound" designed by salvador Dali .... and I really like that

Very cool - and thanks Hamish for pointing out the people, which my brain had missed first time around somehow! :D

Excellent comment Hamish. I was just about to say something about the image when I read you post. I liked the various window elements in the image and, like you, felt that the people really made the shot. But the comment about people themselves really registered with me and I instantly thought of "The Conversation'. I also like the contrast of the wavy line at the top right with the squares. Another super image from your 'indistinct' period Brian.

I was in an upstairs gallery where there was a Van Gogh (Irises) a Matisse or two, a Monet or two and several other works by noted artists. The gallery was teeming with lookers and their digi point and shoots. I stepped out to go back downstairs to the Lyonell Feininger exhibit and these shadows confronted me. I thought I better get a fotie. Some folks in the hall thought I was a nutter I think,...taking pictures of a blank wa'. I could feel their eyeballs on me! They didnae know I was in my Indistinct Period, Pete! (And neither did I till noo!) LOL. Thanks a lot, Pete!

Really nice Brian. As well as the people I like the way the grids imply an underlying structure. Although it would seem to be a disjointed image it is actually quite pleasant on the eye to look at for a while, if that makes sense at all.

A very interesting image to look at! I noticed those people before I read any comments, and I was like 'wow' what a clever idea you have going there Brian. well in!!
