Is that a fire to the right of the Frame?!?! :D:D

I had a friend helping me Dan. Cam on tripod, F5 ish with experiments of 6 8 & 10 seconds exposure. Manual focus and i was taking photo. I use a wire whisk fastened to string to fill with wire wool then light it with a gas cooker striker as i cannot get a 9v battery to get it going. will take a pic tomoz of this.

I hope to go to small river around corner tomorrow eve for some reflections and more room for a few more spins

This is on the hotel car park where i live and work. I hung a carrier bag with wire wool on the fence and yes you guessed it it caught light in pic 3.............haha

Great stuff Daz.
I would advise your friend (or anyone in fact) to wear something that has a bit of head protection from the molten steel. Hoody, cap, etc. :D:D

I must admitt, a 9v battery is a pain in the rear sometimes, absolutely fantastic in extreme windy conditions over lighters anyday, but generally a pain in the rear. I always find that a new battery works very well though.
Another reason (for myself especially when 'Urbexing') not to carry a lighter is so that if the very unlikley chance occures that I do get caught by the fuzz on land or a concrete building that I want to carry out a spin on, then I minimise my chance in bieng dealt with attempted arsen! lol The whisk and wool is another thing though :D:D
but that's just me :)

But I take my hat off to you Daz, fair play for the effort. and I'm REALLY looking forward to see more of your results you have in mind. :)

Haven't you got a Hahnel wireless remote??

yes that makes alot of sense about the arson bit. Yer i got Hahnel wireless remote for xmas :-) will have to try it out when doing this :-)

Great present in that case. :)

Now you can master the art of doing the spin in bulb mode, with the trigger, all by your self :):) :D:D

I can see the headlines now... Man sets fire to hotel in Wales over New Year... :D :D :D

Nice one Darren :)
