im going to wait ... im not going to make any rash buying decisions ... i shall not be driven by material desires ... i shall not buy one until they are cheaper ... .... ....................................................

I think you should form a 12 step program for x100 waiters, Fujiholics Anonymous :)

i agree ... i certainly need one ... i have to be sencible with my money these day , but despite this my brain is constantly nagging me about this camera ...
i might have to become a Buddhist monk ... i dont need 12 steps, i need an enlightened soul ;)

Ooooo, hadn't though about having a clearance to raise some dosh - I have a Canon 1D that's worth at least a tenner! LOL

notice they look a touch on the dark side .... oh yeah and the wierd green discolouration down the left hand side ... i dont think that is how it is supposed to be really...

maybe i should fix this instead of a fuji ...
its a lovely camera to use with the screen folded away you can use it without really concidering it as a digital camera

... it even has a manual shutter, so is next to completely silent when it takes a photo ...
and being as its from 2004 it was the first digital rangefinder pre-dating the leice m8 by 2 years!! ... nah its to special to sell ... even if it does need a good service :)

Definitely worth getting it serviced. The only thing I don't like about the M8 and 9 is the electronic re-****. Why didn't they put an M7 shutter (or better still MP) in and manual re-wind? Only problem with the RD-1 was the vignetting with wide wide angle lenses (solved in the M9 completely using a custom made sensor / micro-lens construct).

I think I need to take c o c k off the swear list

I have no issue with the vignette myself ... It's just a case of working within the limitations of the camera ...

I have made enquiries into getting the repair done at the shops repair agent ... He hasn't done a repair on one before but I have out what sensor it is and they say they can get them ... So fingers crossed it would be just the sensor and ill be able to use my Voigtlander 35 1.4 on a digital body again ...
