Ah, the Torii to the Mt. Hakone Shrine (shrines are shinto, temples are Buddhist). The Hakone Shrine is one of Japanese more well known shinto shrines,and gets most of it tourists visiting in the fall months. It had been tricky getting here until last year due to recent volcano activity.

The only thing I hate more than using a phone is missing a shot. In this case, all fours of my spare batteries were exhausted on my X-Pro1.

From yesterday's Sakura Matsuri in DC. What really aggravates me is that this image came out of a brand new iPhone SE and not one of my Fuji X-Pro1s, or a newspaper issued Nikon D4 with that f/2.8 glass, but a frakking iPhone, and the worst part is that this is essentially SOOC minus resizing.

What kind of flower is that?
