    Company Name

The company name (or maybe the signage) may need to be modified. Somehow the same does not instill an image of quality jewelry.

    Cliff Walk

There is a suspension bridge alongside a shear cliff at the top of Mount Titlis called the Cliff Walk. The young lady was not too sure about walking on the bridge (it bounces and sways as you, and others, walk on it). Her boyfriend/husband had to hold her has as they crossed. When she...

    Rotstöckli

Rotstöckli is a peak of the Urner Alps below the Mount Titlis. The deep blue sky is from the use of a polarizing filter (and crystal clear skies at 3,020 meters -- 10,000 feet).

    Baa

Some sheep that I came across in the pasture around Derwent Dam. This one was very curious about the stranger in the pasture and came up to within a few feet of me. Most of the sheep moved away if I moved in too close.

    Summiting Mam Tor

During my visit to the UK, some friends took me around the Sheffield and Peaks District. One stop for the day was Mam Tor (its name means "mother hill"). It was the home for ancient Celtics over 3,000 years ago, and a fort was built on the summit. Today there is just a pedestal at the summit...

    Towering View

One of Zurich's landmarks is the Uetliberg observation tower. Getting to Uetliberg is an easy train ride from the central station (I had heard that this particular train route is one of the steepest for standard gauge adhesion trains in Europe). from the train station, it is a short walk to...

    Stand Alone, Stand Tall

We started at Mount Uetliberg (outside of Zurich) and walked along the ridge line of the Albis chain. We came across this lone tree sitting atop a small hill. Shortly after I took this image (actually several images to give a pano look) it was the site of a family picnic. It was a picture...

    Gone Fishin'

It is said, that a bad day fishing is better than a good day at work. I guess this guy had a bad day fishing on the Limmat river (which flows out of Lake Zurich).

    Clouds

A weird sky/clouds formation a few weeks ago. Looks threatening, but nothing came of it (at least at my location)
