120° X100 Panorama

I have only tried a few. One involving people was really bizarre when one person moved his head just at the join. I think it requires manual exposure and no moving subjects to be no-brainer, non-fail. The camera can only stitch what you give it. The folks who make the GigaPan robot have nothing to fear. On the other hand, it does do a perfectly good job if you think your way through it. A fun feature to be included, but not a prime reason to buy the camera since such good stitching software has been developed. Nice bonus.

Probably need to set fixed WB as well, to avoid any tonal shifts

I expect the best way would be to do a few test shots to nail exposure and white balance, then shoot the pano manually. This was shot on aperture priority, with the ISO floating—pretty much the diametric opposite. I have the impression that it simply repeats the setting of the first exposure through the series, but have not checked for sure. I will check the manual.
