2013 'year Of Film' - Recap

ok, so I have to admit first that I have a camera addiction - but it's not a problem, as long as I keep buying them!

I had a year of film plan for 2013 - a film camera for every month, mostly acquired pre-loved.

January was the Rollei 35

Feb was the Werra 1 (the camera my Dad used to own when I was a kid)

I still have additional cameras that will flow into a 2014 project, including a rather excellent Oly OM1n.

I had a blast - I've learned a shed-load about photography - I've found some new favorite cameras - I've rediscovered a love for film and Zeiss Lenses.

I've also kept my local processing lab in business!

Did you reveiw the Ricoh in the end? I must have missed it if you did...?
Nope - behind on that Hamish, also a proper write up on the Blad, the Electro CC, and the Fuji 6x9

I managed the purchasing and most of the shooting - but the writing is lagging!

I was doing well, then real life got in the way for a few months - I have yet to catch up :(

Very nice cameras, Chris. Desperately trying not to follow suit...
Go on Rob - you know you want to!

The good thing (as far as swmbo was concerned) was the relatively low cost of most of them - at least officially ;)

nice collection.
Thanks Beth - it's all the fault of Hamish - clearly! :D

Exactly why I'm not going back to film. It's causes a collection obsession me thinks.
Indeed it does Glen - they do look nice on the display shelving though

Wow - awesome collection :)

2013 saw a major re-surge in my film shooting too - with far too many (according to swmbo) old cameras sneaking their way into the house!

wOw Chris, they ALL look like mint condition, stunning selection of formats. I love your August purchase, the Blad 500CM, I'd love to own one at some stage.

Respect Sir.
The Ricoh 500 GX was the only one that arrived damaged, but it was useable - people on EBAY are mostly attentive to the details, as they ned to keep their ratings up.

I had the mad idea around this time last year, but didn't really know what it would turn into Dave. If I'd known, I might not have started! :D
