I do like that Davie. Lots of interest and very subtle tones and the gentlest of vingettes to hold the eye on the subject (or was that the natural light / effect of the lens?). Super.

I pp'd it that way, I wanted it to look old fashioned in a way and what i done was took out all the colour then re-introduced it slowly to get a slightly washed out look

not closed down as such, the man who ran it retired and still lives in it with his house attached(cropped out)

A horn Carver is someone who makes decorative items from horns.... walking stick handles,pipes etc. There was an article on the man somewhere, i'll look for it and post a link

You could almost imagine some deformed guy with a stutter comeing out and pointing at the near by woods mumbling nonsence ... I spend far to much time watching bad hollywood horror films!
