A Few More General Shots...

Taken some time apart, these are two of my favourite monochrome works. Both taken in the county of Yorkshire, one in 2008 and the other more recently. One taken using a Nikon D70, the other a Nikon D600.

As always, beautiful photos @Shaun Haselden! The first one strikes me the most: the contrast between the enduring stillness of the stone and the ever-changing fluidity of the clouds, with a tree bent by the wind in between, which seems to embody the characteristics of both – the stones and the clouds. The tree as a universal symbol, a link between earth and sky.
