A Motley Collection of Random Stuff

Although it's a very everyday scene Rob, the third image is a good capture of bold colour- the light yellow of the grass path to the yellow cabin was a good spot.

I'd be curious what a dutch angle view could do to the first shot- I do enjoy the our of focus images you do.

I like 1 and also 2. 1 for its suggestion of a human torso and 2 for its suggestion of a 19th century booze-up. (Maybe 18th C; it conjures a scene from Barry Lyndon, though I don't suppose there are any frames like it in that flick.)

Wes, I had to look up Dutch angle. I see what you mean, but think it weird enough already :D
As for the yellow cabin, I set the colour rendition in camera to Vivid, and what as already a very yellow cabin be came YELLOW! :D I should have dialled it down a little in post.

Brian, the Barry Lyndon reference is a good one. It wasn’t on my mind at all, but I can see what you are getting at. And, yes, the first does have the impression of a small gathering of people, which I really like.

Thanks for the comments, lads.
