...Heavy Snow with 2 inch per hour snowfall rates with totals exceeding 14 inches possible. Blowing and Drifting Snow will Result in visibilities at times will be less than 1/4 mile. Do not travel unless absolutely required.
i think we got about 6" of snow that day. and sleet. the only rain we've gotten this year was earlier this week and it came with a tornado watch. kinda odd considering we still had snow on the ground when the tornado watch came out.

i got caught out in a truck during white out conditions a few years ago and it started thundering. didn't know what it was until later. we were near an overpass and at first thought the snow plows were going overhead, but we knew they'd been shut down.
