Addy at the park

Babysitting duty today, with grand-baby #2 - Addy.

We decided to try and run off some of her energy at the park!

Then when that didn't work, we went home and watched a movie :D

Thanks chaps - yep Topaz for the B&W PP

They were the sharpest of the bunch - plenty of soft shots that will not see the light of day :(

Shooting wide apertures is a frustrating task when the subject is moving at a million miles and hour!

Feel the pain there chris, my nifty fifty isn't anywhere near the 1.2 I bet, I wish I had manual focus though :p

Chris, these are brilliant! 'proper hydration' is amazingly sharp!
Your work never ceases to amaze me. Well done mate! :):)

I really like the 'Proper Hydration' shot. Really sharp on the eye and bottle top, the look on her face as if she's keeping a close eye on something out of shot and I think the crop is spot on:).

Thanks Dan - I love the look of the 1.2, but do not rate the AF speed/accuracy when tracking moving grandkids wide open - more practice required for Papa! These 4 are almost the only sharp ones from the afternoon - but when it works it's very rewarding :)

Glen - she's got her eye on Nama, who is telling her to leave the bottle with her, while Addy goes to play on the slide - Addy wanted to take the bottle with her (everywhere) so it was a bit of a battle of wills - which Nama won of course! :D
