An Autumn walk in Oregon

My wife and I took a walk today at a nearby regional park. The sky was overcast but there was still a lot of color. Here are a few from the (new-to-me) Nikon D700.

You've made me jealous, Gary. #1637 is especially good to my eye.
The autumnal colours aren't quite here yet in my part of the UK. I went out to take a few snaps this afternoon but I don't think there'll be anything worth keeping among them.

Thanks Peter, it was just a walk in the park. I usually don't take a camera along since I've shot everything there of interest to me but the D700 hadn't been there yet.

#1637 is especially good to my eye

That is good, but my favorite is dsc_1638. It helps you reconcile with this inscrutable world after a stressful day cluttered with noise signals.

These are nice. Your images brought the your walk home for me. Ii could be my monitor ... but, would have processed with a bit more contrast ... a bit more 'black'.

They look well contrasted and the balcks look black in my monitor, Gary(s).
