Stopped in a local tavern for a couple of brews after work one night just before Christmas. Had two cameras on me that night. My trusty XA and my Kodak Pony C. The XA was not so trusty. The batteries had died so when I tried to get a shot nothing happened. So I set my Pony up on the bar and took a shot using bulb mode.

I was using Kodak Gold 400 film. Probably f3.5 (widest aperture in the lens) and several seconds exposure.

See, that's where old-school film cameras win every time - they don't need batteries!

Who's the blonde? ;)

That old bloke is checkin the blonde out big time!!
Great capture! This is what makes photography! Very well done!

That's right, Chris. At the end of the day it's little more than a box wi' a hole the front that ye can open and close.

Who's the blonde?
Dunno. (One time in SF I was in this place and there was a blond at the bar not unlike the one above from behind. When she turned around she was a guy, three day beard and all! Whoa!)

Great capture!
Thank you, Dan!

it is slightly indistinct
Yes. If you look at the fotie critically--and I'm recalling now our discussion of a few weeks ago regarding assumptions we make about what a fotie is telling us--we don't know that he's actually looking at the woman. We're filling in the blanks here aren't we?

And yes,...my Indistinct Period continues, Pete.;)
