Had a visit yesterday from my old friend, and fellow Brit photographer, Antony Blake.

African Elephant Fine Art Photography

We had a couple of hours over dinner, talking photography, and his recent trips to Africa shooting incredible 1x3 images of elephants. Check out the link above.

He's considering an X-Pro1, so we did some low light tests, using his iPhone as a fill light.

Never thought of using a phone as a fill light. Good idea. Really nice portrait. But this is not the first time you've tried to convince us you have friends... :p
 
Nice portrait Chris and and interesting site he has. The camera has done pretty well give the fill-light. Might even be a touch blown here and there. Try reducing structure with a control point.
