Hand-held, and the wind was blowing. I would have liked a few millimetres of space at the bottom.

I set the in-camera mono filter to Blue this time, and I like the softness of the result.

Space below would have bean the normal thing but this does hold up. I suspect it is the angle that helps.

I notice these Quattros are more subbtle than the Merrill's a good thing I think.

They can be. But they can also be too sharp at times if you forget you have set the internal sharpness too high, as in this DP2 image, which is the opposite of the above image:

on my laptop it shows better than on my other computer.... there's is some threedeeishness here too, at least at my (slightly) darker screen of my laptop....

I love the texture. I can almost feel the flower just by looking at it. I guess that's somewhat like smelling colours.
