Critique Welcomed Beach Forms

I took a walk on the beach today during lunchtime - lovely weather, so making the most of it.

I love the beach - it's like a giant etch-a-sketch which gets doodled on each day, then wiped clean again.

Took the X100 along, and captured some abstract beach forms.

Thanks chaps - weather is completely nuts here, with even hotter temps forecast for the weekend and next week!

There were even people sunbathing on the beach yesterday!!

Thanks Pete :)

great series, can't pick a favorite because i love them all. wonderful textures in the first, you go from squishy blobs to the grainy sand. really cool orange color too.

love the little alien dude in the second. i'm sure the b&w tones helped keep the soylent green color of the skin manageable in photoshop. i bet that particular color doesn't reside inside the normal colorspace...

amazing amount of texture in the third, i think i could touch my computer screen and feel the graininess through it.

the last one reminds me of boardwalk fries. somehow i don't think i want to try them though..
