Best way to vignette in Photoshop?

Hi Guys,

I'm playing around with this pic and wondered what other peoples processes were for vignetting images in photoshop. This vignette was done using round and square marquees with very large feathers. I'm not sure about this as the look a little too clean and contrived for my liking.

Paul there is actually a very simple method of doing this automatically and far easier than your stated method.

Open your image in photoshop ( i am using cs4 ) then flick through the menus as follows...

Top Menu Bar - Filters - Distort - Lens Correction

You should find sliders & adjustments for adding vignette to your selected image
