Sometimes the rubbish makes it to the bins.

Sometimes not.

BTW these latest photographs were taken with the Sony RX100. As a travel camera it is great and the only thing I would like in a new camera (now that I know how to turn the unhelpful hints off) would be a larger sensor with less noise at higher ISOs.

Erm, it seems these images are maybe not as well received as the others I recently posted?

The idea behind these photographs was to possibly produce a group of sets that are about rubbish and the attitude and relationship and different cultures have about it. These were a follow on from a recent post http://www.realphotographersforum.com/general/11500-beauty-rubbish.html. While the images in this post are maybe not a visually strong in an aesthetic sense I didn't think they were bad but it seems they didn't really hit the mark and the idea wasn't obvious?

If anyone is willing to take the time to type a few words of critique I would be grateful, I am here to learn after all.

A good idea and would work well I think. Alone though I think these images are, as you say, not as strong visually. Having said that I like the second very much due to the reflection and contrast between the newish car it reveals and the bin and broken glass. The last though is wonderfully bleak (although I would do a bit of straightening). However, the theme of linked sets I like very much and could imagine working as another eBook.

Thanks Pete. I re-visited the last one and indeed it was not straightened as well as it could have been. This has now been amended. For me the strength in these was not the aesthetic, the intention to produce a good looking photograph wasn't there, but instead what they showed. I've seen quite a few photographs like this recently and find such images more thought provoking sometimes as you have to think about what they are of rather than of what they look like.
