This is the cover photo just released for Björk's new single Crystalline. What do you think of it? I think it's magnificent.

The photo is by the design group m/m paris

http://www.mmparis.com/

and inez van lamsweerde & vinoodh matadin (according to m/m (Paris)'s facebook page http://www.facebook.com/mmparis )

The facebook site also has a stunning set of crystal photos such as this:

Unfortunately I can't find the crystal photos on their website so if you haven't got Facebook I can't point you to them.

Wow! An amazing pciture of an amazing performer. Have you ever seen the 'pizza dough' shots or the video for Pagan Poetry?

Yes, I'm a long time fan, Pagan Poetry is a favourite of mine, and I love the video though it's not to everyone's taste! Wht are the pizza dough shots?

I'm going to see Bjork live on Sunday in Manchester, the new "Biophilia" show.

I do recommend the crystal photos, if you have facebook.

Yes, i like it too ... I was thinking this morning; I wonder how to incorporate some of this new fancy photoshop ive been learning in to more "clean" images ... this certainly gives me some idea .... ........

I have "liked this companies page on facebook" which gives me an idea

This is the album cover for the upcoming release "Biophilia".

The animation I think illustrates the 3D effect that will be present on the cover when you purchase the ultra-posh deluxe versions which come with a large book etc etc...

Every one of Bjork's studio albums has had a picture of her on the cover, so this is the latest in a long line of cover photography.

I have to say I think this is a stunning piece of design centred around a great photo.

That's on my shopping list!!

I've ordered the "Manual" edition which is a large luxury book version plus 2 disks. The closing date to order that has passed though.

I saw the Biophilia live show in Manchester recently as part of the arts festival - it was awesome. I was standing behind just a low museum rope, with Bjork at times singing 6 feet in front of me on just a 12 inch high raised platform. Plus all sorts of wonderful instruments and technology, and a large Icelandic girl choir. A never-again opportunity.

The album is released 26 September.
