The Lilac is just coming out in our garden also. I like the way the background hints at things to come.

Ken for a tall guy with such a manly bushy moustache you take a delicate photograph. The light through the leaves and on the buds is superb.

lilac and wisteria around here bloomed this week, dogwoods are out too. this will make a nice shot for you when it finally does decide to bloom.
