BMW 5 Series 520D Business Edition on the banks of Talyllyn Lake,

I had 10 minutes gap to take a few photos between the torrential downpours we have had today.
Playing around with Cokin ND filters especially my new ND8 filter.

LUSH!!!!
Darren, I'm slightly jel TBH...... Beamers are amazingly constructed. My In Laws had a 325 compact ti which I had the pleasure in heavy footing that for a day whislt turning up to a wedding I photog'd. Beats my Vauxhall Astra estate anyday!!! lol
Loving the scenery Darren, and the shots!! Superb!!!!!

Not sure what's going on with the number plates Dazza...... aren't they illegal?? :D:D:D:D:D

Should have pp Dazza into the number plates, wudda looked da biz dazzaboy, were you dealing down there.:D

I love the third shot, very Sales..

On a critique I would say that the tyres are important in car photog so you need to be careful with exp in the shadows, its a very fine balance

this was done for Mercedes dealership a couple of years back and although I look back and think , I would do differently it was something they wanted.

Nice Day/not so nice day, I always favoured an overcast day to be honest, reflections easier to deal with, a great big softbox ion the sky, use a circular polariser filter to clear the glass and reflections oh and a silver car, silver is eeezee don't get all those high polished issues. those from surrounding objects like people etc.

Black is always a problem......I had stuff rejected because of people in the reflections, and when working on busy sites with time constraints, sh## it was a pain.........

Good stuff though mate honest I love em and the location is just spot on

Luscious - I think the moody weather adds to the picture - top gear often get their best images when the weather is less than sunny.

#1 would look great as a 16:9 crop BTW :D

Colour shot is very tasty

if you mean my shots of the BMW, is there such thing as a standard lens? :o

The lens i did use was a canon 24-70mm F2.8 L :)

Great shots. I love the moodiness provided by the climate but the compositions are superb, especially number 3 I think. Also he B&W works wonderfully with the car color and the sky.
