Another stunner. I do love your photography, Nihat. What's the story behind the location?

Wonderful - and on my list of places to go shoot.

We nearly made it a couple of years ago while vacationing in Tahoe, but had to call it off.

Bodie is at over 8,000 ft, so my dad, who suffers with COPD, just couldn't cope with the thinner air

The IR exposure looks to have some cloud movement in it? Is it a longer exposure?

Gives it a wonderfully surreal feel

Thank you, Rob. It's an honor! :) I am writing a piece about it involving my personal journey with a few images. The title will be - Gold Rush Ghost Town, Bodie. Facinating place. Fairly close to Yosemite too.

Thank you, Chris. I looked up for COPD. Sorry about your dad, but as I understand there are some remedies..

It was the end of May in 2011.
The wind blew so strong, and it was so cold.
The snow covered around the deserted homes.
I had a warm head gear purchased from Ushuaia
that was hardly keeping up with the weather.
Pressing on the tripod to firm the exposures of 1 second and 1/2 second.
Yet, you can see some movements on the clouds and on the bushes.

I keep going back to the picture trying to figure out what it was in particular I liked about it for a more in depth statement.... I failed.

It's a great picture that has had me going back time and again and not many have that 'something' that keeps me revisiting, brilliant

Thank you very much, Davie. I really appreciate your input.
