Someone on DPReview has posted asking for a recommendation for a better photography forum.

I have of course posted recommending this fine institution.

If you have a spare moment, how about logging onto DPReview and adding to the post - might be a good way to drive some like minded photographers this way.

Thread is here: http://forums.dpreview.com/forums/read.asp?forum=1032&message=38029289

I was going to leave a comment, but thinking about it id feel a little cheeky considering the fact i own this place ...
If anyone wants to sing our collective praises there then feel free! ... i dont want to tread on anyones toes ... especially considering the respect i have for dpreview as a whole :)

Hamish - you should post - you're just helping the poor guy out with his problem!

I saw that post on DPR and came here to check it out. I liked what I saw and joined. Haven't seen on flamer here and I really like that.

I'll just boot people who argue for no reason ... It ain't my vibe man! ;)
I want this place to turn out as a haven for those disillusioned by other forums ... I got the idea from a hifi forum that has much the same vibe ...
Sometimes heated debate, but never any personal attack, ridicule or condescension ...

It's nuts, I've had trouble with my internet line so haven't really bothered with being on line much recently but have noticed the huge number of unread posts flagging up every time I come on to have a look. I had trouble keeping up before, not sure I can cope now.

Paul, I'm addicted to this forum and on it at least twice a day... and even now I'm suprised with the amount of unread posts!!!! hahaha!!!
